WHERE ARE THE STRATHMORE APARTMENTS LOCATED?
You’ll find us at 4501 Chestnut Ridge Road, on a quiet, wooded cul-de-sac. Our location is in the heart of Amherst, so we’re close to many stores and restaurants, and just minutes away from Buffalo’s main roadways, I-90 and I-20. We’re also just steps away from the University of Buffalo’s North Campus. See map.
WHAT DOES A STRATHMORE APARTMENT COST?
Rents range from a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment at $1,300/month to a 3-bedroom, 2-bedroom apartment at $2,100/month. Rents do not include electric. See floor plans.
WHAT DOES RENT INCLUDE?
For your convenience, your rent includes wireless high-speed Internet, 99 channels of digital cable TV, water, sewer, trash and recycling services. Our tenants also have full access to our onsite amenities, including our fitness center and clubhouse with patio, plus our onsite management and maintenance team. See amenities.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A 1-YEAR LEASE?
Not necessarily. Our leases at the Strathmore are flexible, so talk with our apartment manager about what you need to see if we can accommodate you.
IS A SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes, a security deposit is required and is equal to one month’s rent upon approval of your application by the leasing office.
WHEN IS RENT DUE?
Your rent is due on the first of each month, with a grace period until the 5th of the month. You’ll incur late fees on the 6th of the month.
IS ON-SITE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes, we have a limited number of attached and separate garage spaces with remote access, in addition to plenty of off-street parking.
DO APARTMENTS HAVE ON-SITE LAUNDRY FACILITIES?
Yes, each of our apartments comes with its own washer and dryer, so there are no trips to a central laundry room on the property.
CAN I BRING MY CAT OR DOG?
Yes, up to two pets per apartment are allowed, provided they are small- to medium-size, you take care of and pick up after your pet(s), and they don’t create disruptive noise for other tenants. There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $250 per pet.
IS THERE ON-SITE MAINTENANCE?
Yes, we have maintenance staff available during regular office hours, in addition to 24-hour emergency maintenance service. Click here to fill out a Work Order.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE APARTMENT MANAGER?
Our manager has an on-site office at the Strathmore. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays by appointment. You may call (716) 276-3399 anytime—if you have to leave a message, our manager will get back to you no later than the next day. Contact us.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I NEED MAINTENANCE SERVICES?
You can call the apartment manager at (716) 276-3399, or simply click on the Work Orders link on this website. Complete the form and tell us what you need. Be sure to fill in your apartment number, email address and phone number where we can reach you during the day.
HOW DO I PAY MY RENT?
You’re welcome to stop in at the leasing office during regular business hours to drop off your rent check or money order. Or you can simply leave your rent check in the after-hours drop box outside the leasing office. And coming soon: online rent payment through this website.
